Beatrix Cecilia Araneae, born into a life of luxury and privilege, as the princess of her country she was afforded any and everything she could ever want, anything but freedom. For you see while Beatrix’s family ruled the land there were countless other family from other regions that would like nothing more than to pluck the Araneae family from its throne. It was from this reason that her parents had made the decision to keep their daughter away from the public so that not only she would be safe but to ensure that their only heir was not used as a barraging chip by one of their many enemies. However because of this choice Beatrix was alone, never allowed to see anyone outside of the castle staff, much less have friends her own age, there was one member of the castle staff, however that she felt a connection with, her maid Elizabeth. Beatrix and Elizabeth were acquainted on her 10^th birthday, when her mother and father decided that it would be best to have someone to care for their daughter more closely, so they could focus on matters of the kingdom. It didn't take long after their first meeting for the young Beatrix to grow a fondness for her maid and would look forward to seeing her every day and miss her every night, they would call each other nicknames and laugh and play…just like the friends she always wanted. But all good things must end, as was the case with Beatrix and Elizabeth, and as her families’ enemies grew it was only a matter of time before Beatrix’s happy life would come to a close.

Cause of death:
The night was calm outside it had been another fun day with Elizabeth and Beatrix was preparing for bed. She knew Liz would stay with her until she was tucked in and asleep, so she took her time, and used this as an excuse to spend just a few more minutes with her longtime friend. As the two talked they heard a clank near the window at the back of Beatrix’s room. Elizabeth was alert and told her to get out of sight. Another clank and this time a hook could be seen on the windowsill. Soon after a man in a black cloak knocked open the window, and began demanding that Elizabeth turn the princess over. Beatrix could she her friend shaking as she told the thief she would never hand her over to a common crook. The man seemed offend and asked again, this time pulling out a large and threating dagger. The maid refused again and the man shook his head slightly before rushing towards. Beatrix saw her one and only friend in danger of being hurt, or worse, and with no regard for her own safety shoved Liz out of the way, she felt the blade sink into her chest and heard her friend crying…the princess let out a whimper...”Liz…I’m sorry”.

Struggle: 
As a result of her life ending so abruptly Beatrix has a strong urge to live out the life she never got to have, and while she maybe a bit shy at first, friends are something she has always wanted, however she can never forget her first friend, her maid who she had vowed to give a great life to, when Beatrix finally took the throne. Because of all these desires her greatest struggle in her new life is to learn to live not only for herself but to also be able to accept the huge separation that occurred at the time of her death.
 
Personality Traits/Info:
-as result of being pampered her whole life she has a very high view of herself
-while she didn't look down on her maid she didn't have the highest opinion of others, especially those outside the castle.
-however behind her bratty, and highborn stance, deep down she longs for companionship, and isn't against making friends.
-but that is not to say she isn't shy or nervous about, she may act like a brat but that’s her way of dealing with most situations, in actual social situations, she is as awkward as they come.
 
-loves, sweets, and cake, mostly due to the fact that Elizabeth would make them for her when the cooks were too busy, her favorite was Elizabeth’s special chocolate cake that only she could seem to make right.
-Beatrix didn't normally get the chance to be athletic, however Elizabeth, who had a beautiful voice and was a pianist, and violinist, taught her how to play the piano, and violin, this gave Beatrix a huge interest in music and is how she discovered her own singing talents.
-Her favorite color while not the most elegant was black, however she was usually made to wear more feminine colors (pink, purple etc.) as a result she would started to make up her own outfits that mixed the two kinds of colors, the most common one being a pink and black dress witch Elizabeth helped her to make.
Elizabeth also made it a point to introduce Beatrix to all kinds of literature, Beatrix's favorite were fairy tales, or high fantasy stories as she got older.

Dislikes:
-most vegetables and healthy food
-sports and most athletic activities.
-politics, even though she knows she would one day have to get involved in them.
