"These damn jewels evade me more than I evade magic..."

Averia steps through behind Illium, holding a sieve herself as she walks over to a pool of water to help Illium search.
"Welp, let's hope we find these gems before the monsters find us~"

Averia chuckles and points to the emerald in Illium's Sieve.
"Well, that was quick. Now you can finally finish your project~."
She gets up and starts to leave.

Illium smiles and pockets the jewel, getting up to leave as well.

Komali lands in the new area and starts looking around for things while checking her list.

She tumbles into the area out of the portal, almost falling off an edge of one of the islands!

"Sh-shit! OHGODOHGODOHGOD--!"

*She rolls backwards away from the ledge*

*He hops into the area, slamming into the ground with his fist*

This is just like my fen area, isn't it? Huh.

Slowly walks, if using a spot of magic, hovers into this area, what with him not knowing the terrain and moreso, following Komali

"So this is where you got off to.."

Komali looked over at Sandy. 
"Oh it is just you."
She doesn't try to stimulate conversation, just goes right into gathering 23 Fazeprant

She's rather surprised, noticing Sandy here for the first time out in an area -- as far as she knows.

"H-huh? Oh, you decided to tag along? I was wondering if you were up for any work... n-not to call you lazy or anything, but I haven't seen you head out here before."

She looks around for some herbs, and finds some green herbs, ready to be added to the collection.

Ahh... I'm not in the mood to deal with this.

*She reaches into her holster and tosses a fear ward pill into the air! It pops into a puff of blue smoke, and the upsets start running of in the opposite direction*

"I'm glad you two had brought me along. I haven't had a decent amount of field work in quite some time..."

*He picks up a pick and looks around for a boulder, then kicks the pick into the boulder from where he stood, causing it to shatter into several pieces and send rocks flying in a multitude of directions, as he grabbed them out of the air.*

Takes the bucket and ends up gathering 22 Water. Afterwards he looks at Reiko abnormally... and gives a single line, to which would be the most obvious one to use given her statement.


".....I don't.... think I see you that often...or really.. know you..."

That said he just goes back to doing what he feels he's meant to do. Not really used to being out without Tsuzune just yet..

Komali noted Sandy's discomfort but she wasn't totally sure what to do about it. So instead she starts sniffing about for more things to gather, trying not to overlook anything.

Hm? Ah, well, I figured. I haven't had chance to talk to a lot of people lately taking care of plans and maintenance. I'm Reiko Yuikeida, the town leader. I did see you at the wedding, wondering what you were talking to Trace about, but I hadn't really taken the chance to talk...

*She stands up from her crouching position and walks over to Sandy, then extends a paw to him with a bit of a warm, but determined smile -- you could tell she was ready to see what he was about*

Is still unsettled about being here. His first and before this, only out being with Tsuzune, having more people isn't something he's truly used to. As if his next action was expected to calm him down, the lion surprisingly enough, wanders over to Komali and starts rubbing her head- literally petting her.  Then he head the red furred figure say two words in which his ear twitched that got his attention. Only one of right now that he'd reply to.


"Trace......... she just told me exactly what was necessary of me. That's.. all I needed."

His choice of words being very odd here. As it wasn't a 'want' but a 'need,' emphasized by his mood seeming to switch to a calmer state as he thought it over. Moreso where he was at the wedding.


"Sandalphon.. you need my name don't you...?"

He was oddly reluctant to shake her paw. Yet did with his free paw, not wanting to stop petting Komali... clearly.

Komali blinks her alarm as she was not expecting the physical contact and after all her training genuinely believed for a moment that she was under attack but Sandy's touch was unbelievably calming and Komali could feel all the pent up concern, sorrows, fears, and discouragments just melting out of her into the ground. 
She involuntarily purred and leaned into his paw.

She seemed a little less at ease with the way he was acting, then shook his paw, just a little worried in the back of her head. Something just didn't seem right -- or good, for that matter.

"Hm? Is there something wrong...? I mean, just in case there's any ideas, I'm usually pretty nice to the people here... And you say Trace told you everything you needed? Well, usually me or someone else in town is up for that kinda work, but I kinda know firsthand. After all, me and Trace talk a lot together when I'm not in town, and she was the one who told me in the first place, all the things. She doesn't get out often."

She looks around a bit, wondering if there was more to get...

The list in her paw falls free, snapping Komali back to reality as she remembers that they DID have a purpose here. So she wiggles free of the petting to gather 33 Water.

Continued petting Komali. The more he did the calmer he seemed to become. However, the more she mentioned Trace's name, the more responsive he seemed to become around her.

"Ah..is that so..."

He seemed to look at her. As if every other existance in this area was deleted and the only beings there in his mind were he, Komali, and the red furred speaker before him.

"What is it that she says to you? It might be important for me to know too. Like...about these 'Upsets' that are around. Is there anything else I should know about them?" 

Komali stands up and calmly leaves the area, looking a little worn.

He looks at Komali leaving.

"Hm? Are you tired? Perhaps we should all finish up then..."

He takes his pickaxe and goes for another round of stone.

The member 'Minh Fan' has done the following action : Roll Die

"Oh, Komali, you're going? Well...take care then. Try to get some decent rest, okay?"

She sighs, watching her leave, but then continues back to her herb gathering work, progressively more concerned...

"Ah, she doesn't talk a ton about details that might be nice to know. There's a lot she doesn't know herself, from what she's told me. But she's lonely a lot of the time -- she can't really leave the Santcum that often because of some "voice' that tells her she can't."

But first, a sandwich! *She grabs a sandwich from her back and eats it, storing her stamina up a bit more*

He seemed a little upset the Komali was leaving. It was as if his concentration was broken on staying calm. Him merely petting her was apparently working wonders for his mood.

"Ah.. Komali...."

Once she left, he blinked. Picked up the bucket once more and gathered yet another 22 water, then set the bucket back down, going back to listening to Reiko

"...a voice? Then that would mean.....

He went silent, thinking about that, very carefully. So much so that even the sound of simple breathing ceased coming from him.

He looked to Sandy, wondering who he was as well. But then again, he wasn't familiar with a lot of the people, all considering time he's spent out of town. He decided he'd not intrude upon the two's conversation, but observe from away at another nearby boulder, leaning on his pick.
