Background

Bey was the daughter of a successful helicopter manufacturer. She lived on the top floor of a luxury apartment complex, which her father owned. She often spent her time cooped up in her room, away from society. As a child, Bey had dreamed about owning a bakery. Her parents, however, were not pleased with this. They began to berate her. As she came to be in middle school her parents told her her choices were this: become a teacher or become a doctor. They told her she "was better off dead" if she did not comply.

For a while she did, but soon began to slack off. Her dreams of "happiness" had "clouded" her mind, as her parents told her. To combat this they gave her a violin; a mode of "creativity","happiness", and "freedom" for which she so desperately longed for and shoved her into lessons. Again, this worked for a while but she soon returned to slacking off, realizing the false happiness behind the instrument. She became introverted and cursed her family, spending long hours on her computer. The people she met shared her same fate; failure and unhappiness. She became close with many of them. The internet comforted her. It gave her a freedom she never had: to do what made her happy. 

As her parents anger raged on, she began to have vicious nightmares and started sleepwalking. In most of them she was being chased by some monster or held up on a pedestal, papers with giant F's taped on her body, thousands of people staring and scorning her. Bey dropped out of high school, much to her parents dismay, and lived at home until her death. 

Death

One night, while having a nightmare, she began to sleep walk. In her dream she was being chased by an unidentifiable man in a forest. During the chase, she is lead to an open field with a lake and a red Toori. In order to escape the man she attempts to climb the Toori. However, several demons appear in the sky and hurl themselves toward her. Out of fear she jumps down from the Toori. In the real world she ends up jumping off her balcony to her death.

  • - fears failure so she often will not do something because of the chance to fail
  • - tends to not look people in the eye
