3-3 Quarry of Echoes

Komali put her bow on her back and squatted down to think for a moment. She was certainly training enough so why was she so much weaker than the others? For a moment she considered asking Reiko or even Illium but perhaps she was just not learning enough from Tree.

*She stretches out a bit, then takes a look at Komali*

Hmm...? Hey Komali, are you doin' okay? You don't seem so energetic as you usually are...

Komali looked up at Reiko before standing again, and fiddling with her pick.
"Huh? Oh I'm ok, really," she said happily before turning and looking for 23 Gold

"Perhaps you may say so, but maybe Reiko has a point. After all, she wouldn't ask if nothing were amiss...Although, if you do need your space, I -- personally -- will respect it."


*He takes out a pick and finds a place near Komali to get some of the Carbon*

"Yeah... well, just lighten up a bit, if it's not too hard. I don't really like seeing you like this since it helps keep up the morale of the camp when everyone's happy, you know? I mean, I'm always open to talk about things if you want...I'm sure Illium would like that too."


*She finds a nearby patch and checks her paws again, then she picks up the rest of the phoenix leaves*

The member 'Reiko Yuikeida' has done the following action : Roll Die

"Doesn't mean I can't stop to talk if you catch me, does it? Yeah. I've been trying to loosen up a bit."

*She sits down and just leads back, looking up at the ceiling of the cave*

"I wish I could've been there for a lot of things, but...."

He sits near them, though he looks a bit stern and deep in thought...Perhaps he's thinking about how he hasn't been around much either, but then he remembered how he detested a lot of the people in town, especially Routier...

Komali gives Reiko a skeptical look and considers walking off since this doesn't seem too important but she also recognizes that this could be important to Reiko and if Komali DID walk away, Reiko might not want to spend time with her again. 
She sits by Reiko briefly before getting up and heading to the portal, saying, "It is ok to be busy."

She walks into the area a bit proudly, albeit not trying to show off with acrobatics, as she's learned that leads to bad results.

"Alright guys, we need some metal. And by some, I mean a lot. I've got a list of other things on here as well, so let's get cracking."

"It iz no hassle, Master Reiko. Let's get started, shall we?" 

She's behind Reiko, looking around the area for the first time, but prepared to face whatever may be in the way.

He follows in after, though he hesitates none at all and gets right to work, not quite in the mood for words...

The first thing he goes for are the metal veins.

"Welp. He's got the right idea. Let's follow suit, Shira!"

With a smile, she works at the metal vein as well...

"Nopenopenopenope." *She tosses up a fear ward pill and continues on*

"What iz dat odd pill you keep tossing up? It seems to drive away de upsets, but it's...odd...az I said."

Curious as she was, she still keeps at the mining proccess.

"Oh these things?" She pulls another out of one of her alchemy pouches. "They're fear ward pills...they supposedly make you really brave, but apparently they drive away Upsets for some unknown reason to me....Weird, huh?"

She tossed it up in the air a few times, but not far enough to cause it to burst...

"Ahh, I understand now... I waz not too familiar with such a ding when my master showed me hiz basics with alchemy. He was into some...ahem...more physical sides of de alchemy and tonic making."

"Ph...physical...? Your old master was into that kind of stuff....? G-geez, I didn't take you to be working with a pervert...but then again, the way you dress...."

She was a little flustered thinking about Shira the way she was figuring she meant...

"Not to be crass or anything, but I don't suppose that means you're chemically enhanced? After all, natural is the way to go."

He crossed his arms and had his eyes closed with a smug smile.

"No-no, dear. Aldough, it's happened a couple times before, but noding too permanent. Most of de time, de master likes to be able to re-use hiz number one subject... uhuhu..." She had her paw over her mouth as she giggled.

"But if you don't dink dat iz enough proof, I'm more den willing to show you, Master Minh..."

She had a bit of a seductive smile, though her eyes stayed as cold as they usually do...

"Well, I won't mind that, if you offer what nature has to give..." He said, chuckling a bit sarcastically as he went for some titanium this time around.

"You might be some a fair comparison to a lady I once knew, but I would not put it to me to be the one in search of such things. After all, I do have more to keep my mind clear for."

"I've not had a good giggle in quite some time~ Uhuhuhu~ Master, Minh, why do you not come back with me and Master Reiko dis time around? I'm sure I could make some arrangements for you, if you wished."

She was rather inviting about this, but she stayed focused on the task at hand and joined in the Titanium Run.

As tempting as such fun sounds...I'm taken already. Dammit. Well, at least Shizue is a cute test subject though...

She whistled a bit flustered, mining at an unusual and nervous pace for some titanium as well.

"I don't think I've ever seen you two talk like this before... You two are pretty easy on the lewd stuff, aren't ya?"

She sat down against the wall, wiping some of the sweat off her forehead.

"I kinda fall apart talking about stuff like that openly....I mean, with Shizue, we're usually alone together, but...."

"Ah, well it waz not a shame of mine with my master... Some of de stuff we did togeder was worth every ounce of of my life I could spare. Or perhapz it iz a little beyond your age. However, for sure, I could offer you and Master Shizue some of my special services az well, if you asked...."

She had no hesitation at all with her sentences, you could tell she meant it.

"I'm sure you, of all people, Reiko, understand the needs of the nature's callings? The passion that a wolf like you brings to our camp?" He started laughing heartily after the last sentence, probably enjoying teasing Reiko about this.

"Sh-shut up! I-It just kinda happened and I .... well okay, maybe I'm young and I let the heat get to me and all, but still, you guys don't really hesitate..."

She was a little embarrassed, but she kinda came to terms with the likelyhood that the age gap meant something was missing that she never knew -- especially considering possible cultural differences.

"Maybe I should drop it so you two can too..."

"Huhu...do not worry, Master Reiko... we jest."
She giggled a little more and then stood up with her pick ready once more, catching a couple more breaths.

He cracked his shoulders and then primed his pick again, then started to lead off the gathering with a flurry of strikes to the wall for stone.

"Hiiii---yah!"

She sighs, realizing what they got in metal probably wasn't enough...

"We're all gonna burn through this metal in a manner of minutes... I know I do."

"You're right. Extra would not hurt at all. 

After dis, I am willing to do a little bit of training, if it's not too much to ask, Master Reiko."

She goes for some metal as well.

She takes out a paper horn and blows it.
