She stretches a bit, closing her tome and slinging her staff onto her back before opening her tome again, reading some of the smudged and ruined script inside.
"A... Alruni... Alruni-Nictasha..?"
A bit of dark magic starts to form up at the tip of her staff.

Komali wanders over to Illium and brushes her tail against his playfully. 
"Routy told me that there was a big thing last night and you were there."

Lionel looks up at Av's mumbling then back to the pool, then right back up at her.
"What are you doing?"

She looks up from her tome, the magic fading from her staff slowly.
"Oh, I was just reading some of the things written in this tome. I barely understand most of it in its broken and battered condition though."

He looks over at Komali and nods, coiling his tail with hers.
"Yeah... It was interesting to say the least. Apparently some of these areas can hold things from our past and bring forth some of our darkest secrets and inner struggles..."

He got and walked over to look at it.
"Interesting... To draw power from books..."
Lionel was clearly very interested, all his attention on the tome.

"It is a good thing I don't have any secrets then," she says extra firmly, but even saying that her thought drift back to her toy mouse that she still hadn't even shown Illium. Her tail unwinds and she walks away a little, somewhat uncomfortable as she thinks about that. 
To distract herself she grabs a titanium gathering ax and grabs 11 Floatwood.
