Chakram of Darkness


Tsuzune was a simple shrine maiden in the mountainous area she lived in, her only company was a village a couple of miles away, she would always visit them and care for the children, and donate what little she could to help them out. Though Tsuzune was not just a shrine maiden, but in fact the blood of the goddess she worshiped, Eleazol, ran through her veins, and in the shrine held the sacred chakrams, Arzest and Calinou, for which she may slay evil with, which wasn't necessary at the time, knowing peace for the past 20 years. Then one terrifying day, the clouds grew dark and a cold wind swept through the land, the red eyes of beasts could be seen in the forests, she had to act before the land was overtaken by this darkness, so she unlocked the seal on Arzest and Calinou and purged the darkness from the land the next 2 years, although she was swift but weak, the chakrams were luckily made for one hand each so even someone such as her could wield them, and were so powerful that they reacted with her blood and utterly destroyed any beasts of darkness that may threaten the village. For the next two years the land would know peace and prosperity with the holy chakram's might. She even took up opening and orphanage at the shrine for all the children whom didn't have a home because of the darkness. She was as happy as she could have ever been with the company, until that dark day... The darkness had returned much more powerful and she found out the hard way, she came back to the shrine after collecting some herbs only to find the shrine destroyed and all the children....were killed...On the ground in front of her lie the chakrams, with the terrible evil that destroyed everything, the knight of darkness Ganoia, wielding the dark blade Varacade. The knight told her these last words "You hath worshiped a terrible deity, and shall die for it!" The knight took a stab at her with his sword, she tried to block it with the blades of the chakrams, but the sword fazed right through it, stabbing her in her chest, halting her life. Her faith in the goddess had dwindled as that dark terrifying day took everything she held dear away from her.

Struggle
With the loss of her shrine, her children, the life she had dedicated herself to had been taken away in mere moments, she must now cope with and move on from losing her loved ones, but it may not be easy, and she feels her bloodline must be passed on! It may not be as easy as it sounds, as well as her faith in the goddess slowly dwindling, what path will she follow now?
