Crudely Made Apple Tea

Valinea was up late this night, and missed the aroma of just simple tea, so she searched the stockpile.
"hmmm...." she sees one piece of fruit in the stockpile, and takes the apple. she then drew up some water, and got another pot to work with. Since she was too lazy to get a knife, she took out her axe, and starts crudely cutting the outside of the apple, so the skin wouldnt be as annoying, and then she squished the juice out of the pulp, into her pan.
Taking the seeds out of her crushed pulp, she threw the rest of the pulp in the pot, and stirred it up, before putting the pot over the fire to boil into proper tea.

She yawned a little and layed back, staring at the stars as her tea boils

Lionel was trying to pray when the smell of crushed apples and the sound of water starting to hiss in the pot wafted in on the gentle breeze. It was distracting. After trying, and failing, to ignore it her finally got up and went out to the fire. 
When he noticed Val he strongly considered turning around and going back the tent but he sighed and came to sit across from her anyway.

her ears twitched a bit, as she looked towards the source, seeing him, and she quietly just waved a little.

Determined not to step on any toes, Lionel politely waves back but otherwise refuses to look at her. Instead he decides to just wait until the water starts boiling.

Once the water started boiling, she sat up, and poured some into too cups, setting the extra one next to his spot should be if he comes over. after it cooled down, she quietly sipped, and wondered if he would come over

Awkwardly he gets up to sit by her and asks, "May I perhaps have a cup?"

She simply motions to the extra cup, and stays quiet for the moment. Not that she's giving him any sort of silent treatment, she just misses the moments where she and her knight core would just sit around the fire and drink tea in silence for a few minutes... it made the world feel at peace for her.

He nods his thanks and takes the cup, sipping gently and looking into the fire. 
It felt like it had been forever since Lionel had sat beside a kindred spirit and despite the silence, he was enjoying just sitting with no other beings demanding his attention for anything. It was just the cool of the night on his back, the warmth of the fire at his front, and the calm of the camp at rest.

After she drank through about half of her cup, she finally spoke up "it seems, yu'we been avoiding me since our spar" she said simply

He didn't say anything for a full minute. 
"I over stepped my boundaries when we fought," he said tactfully, with a level voice. "I apologize."

She nodded "it's ok, yu did alittle, but zhat isnt vhy I kicked yur ass zhat day"

"Such language from a knight of the church," he teased and smiled before clearing his throat and turning away. He plays with the cup for a moment and sips it again trying to decide if it were alright that he sit here.
"Ah no, I imagine you won because of your skill."  

She giggled "god doesn't truly care if one svears or not, more on zhe intent of one's language" she commented, before nodding "partly zhat, partly zhat I hate losing, and yur lil tricks vere starting to really zhrow me off~"

"Yes, it was unsporting of me to play on your affections. I assure you it will never happen again," he promised. Lionel quickly finished his tea, despite the burning in his throat and set the cup down beside her. 
"Thank you very much for the tea, it was a warm comfort in a cold reality." 

she smiled a bit "gud, I look forward to a real spar next time" she said simply, before finishing off her cup "and yu're velcome, help yurself to some more if yu vish zhan~"

"I better not, Dame," he says not looking at her, "and we best not spar together in the future. Perhaps you practice with Ymir." 

She blinks a few times "vhy?" she asked, really confused

Lionel sighs a little sadly before turning to look her in the eye and saying, "Because I would sooner go to hell then stand in the way of a lovestruck buck."

She sighed and put her cup down "..... yu're both idiots zhan"

He smiles at her, his sensitive ears hearing her comment. 
"I'd rather not take another arrow because of his passion. Sleep well Dame," he says before turning and walking away, resolving to fight this on his own. There was no need for love when there was work to be done.

She just sighed, and got herself more tea.

She shrugged and poured her a glass, handing it to her

"Thank you~"

She takes a sip of the tea.

"Val this stuff is much better than the last batch of tea!~"

She smiles a little "glad yu like it"

"This drinking tea thing was a great idea, I've never felt so relaxed in my life~"

She continues to sip on the tea.

She nodded "mhmm~"
