4-9 Mindless Processing Center

You know i honestly couldn't tell you where in the hell we are if i tried to right now. We had so many of these things all over the world and i know i had the chance to visit quite a few of them, or at least the ones in my country. Supply and processing plants like this were always filled with a ton of stuff, be it in the back rooms (which all had labels) or out on the conveyor belts to await truck loading. the ones further out from the main alchemy labs all had sub labs attached to them so we could more easily distribute all manner of product to both the discerning alchemist or to those that simply needed medicines and what not. Sometimes i would just sit on the conveyor belts for kicks and ride them through the center if i was waiting for some sort of big wig to show up. They never once laughed though... Hmmm... I wonder if any of the ones here still work.

She walks ahead into the area, a little surprised by the sight of the room.

"This kinda looks like something I'd see from Half-Life...or something. I don't know..."

She scratches her cheek, not sure what to make of the place/

"Um... we needed Valcadineas, right?"

Travis walks in and eats a fear ward pill, sighing from the awful taste while nodding and pulling out a small list

"Quite a bit of the stuff actually, although Atamago wouldn't be bad to grab while we're here."

She walks into the area following after them to keep them company.

"Masters... I would like to help, but I fear I do not have the skill yet to aid in the handling of de herbs. But I will offer my blade for your safety."

She bows to them and lets them work.

"...Right." She nods, glad that it's not just a party of two here, and goes on the lookout for some herbs. She finds a few of the Valcadineas hidden under some of the truck lines and picks carefully.

Travis proceeds to gather 22 Valcadineas out of an opened box on one of the belt lines.

"Your help and your company really is appreciated miss Shira. It makes big places like this less creepy."

She giggles a bit sweetly (and notably less creepily) and looks around to make sure nothing is on it's way.

"It iz always a good idea to bring enough people along when you go out to dese places. You might not know what kind of dings you may find."

"Yeah, no kidding. I remember having a talk with Lionel about how he ran off on his own after whatever the hell it was. I'm glad we're all fine after that, though..."


She settles down and takes a deep breath for a few moments.

Travis soon finds one of the conveyors that leads to an upper area, soon hopping onto and walking up the belt while looking at the empty boxes

"I think i also learned not to do anything that stupid ever again after the first one of these i made... granted feeling like i was home for a week wasn't so bad."

She was a little surprised by this statement and looked over to him.

"Home for a week? Wait, was it that garden place?" She tried to remember, grasping the side of her head a little dumbfounded.

"It makes me a little curious to know a little more about where you hail from, Master, but you have de liberty of time to help fill in dose details. If you do so wish."

She put a finger to her mouth, remembering she too made an area very familiar to her. Although, she didn't really think of staying in such a place for too long.

Travis smiles and nods once he gets to the top of the belts and sits down on one, letting his feet dangle a bit

"Correct, in all honesty i could give tours of the place since i managed to put most of it together just right. i even remembered some of the broken sprinklers too it seems but that aside, if you want Shira we could walk through it and  give you a small history lesson on either the place or me. If you're really that interested then i'll gladly teach."

She puts her paw to her chest and bows. "I would be most grateful for that opportunity, Master. Thank you, I would love it."

"I'm actually a little curious myself, but ~ I've got a lot of things on my plate as is, so that might be tough..."

She hops to her feet again and looks for some atamagos...

Travis smiles as he brings down a box that had some packaged Atamago.

"Whenever you both have the time then, you know where to find me i'm sure."

"By the way, you two... " She hops back up on a ledge again and sits down. "You've been um... hanging out together? I kinda wonder why Shira is always headed to the lab at night, but I figured it might've just been cleaning duty. N-not that it's really my business what you two do, but..."

"Well, you're right about de cleaning part, but... Mm... I'll let you dink a little more on de matter. Uhuhu... I don't mind helping de master wid hiz work, if he needs. Dough az I said, I'm not az skilled wid de use of potions az I would like to be. Perhaps, in due time. "

She sits on another ledge and gazes at the windows.

Travis smiles and looks around for a bit more to gather

"Both her and Sirocco have kept me plenty of company in the lab if i'm to be honest. It's rather refreshing to have a working lab with people you like."

"Oh, so I see~ I haven't had the chance to start anything huge. I just kinda dabble in the works, so it's nice to have some tools and potions ready when I need them. People get hurt all the time and it sucks I'm not really good with any kind of magic..."

She seems a bit regretful about that, not really being a fan of spellcasting in her past life, but at least proud that her potions can be pretty effective.

Travis flicks his ear a bit at hearing that

"Perhaps you could join us in the lab then, another set of paws in there is always welcome and i'm sure you could help me with my latest project. Before i forget though, Shira i do have a couple of potion ideas that might be good for testing but i'll look over my notes more before calling on you officially for the work. i want to reduce any hazardous risk that might cause harm or explosion of the lab."

"Hmmm... I guess so. I haven't had any real accidents lately with potions since I've been following recipes I know to the letter, but there's always that precaution..."

She hops back to her feet again starts searching up some crates, sniffing out some of the herbs she's looking for. Once again, she finds a batch of Valc's.

"N-n-n-nope!"

*She sprays all around her vigorously with a Repelasol as soon as she hears monsters incoming.*

Her attention is caught by this news and she looks to him interested.

"Oh? Well, of course, I'd be willing to try it for you, Master~ I don't fear many accidents -- not in this world at least. I trust your competence and skill az well."

Travis brings out some more Atamago

"At least one of us is confident. now then... i think this is all we should need for now. What do you say we head back home and call it a night eh?"

"Right. I'm ready to hit the hay at this point..." She yawns and gestures them out~

(You know I'd make a pun about pregnant women, but I think I'd just get slapped.)

He struts into the gate.

He quickly runs into the area and looks around for the nearest machine.

"THESE MACHINE THINGS-- THEY HAVE LITHIUM, CORRECT?"
