Facility of Sorrow

It appears as though i couldn't avoid these thoughts forever... There is something that i'm not willing to face just yet and here it is, mocking me. This is abandoned laboratory 26b, a sub-center for some of the most heinous acts i've ever seen, a series of experiments referred to as "the transmutation trials". It seems i'm tortured by their memory more often lately and it all led to this. A place where i can even still hear the tortured screams of men, women, and even children that would be experimented on day after awful day. My hope of what it would look like in a distant future is what this particular place is. Completely abandoned and void of tortured souls and mangled things that we would once call people. Now replaced with all manner of plant life, some left over semi-precious materials and even life in the form of humble cows. It seems only fitting that a lab once used to forcibly transmute people into things not of this world and most often dead becomes a place for life once more. That or perhaps it is just another foolish dream i'm making "real" so i can sleep a little easier at night. If only Razia, Chloe, Dad... hell if only any of them could find me here and give me just a small bit of hope to cling to here. Just maybe i could hold on a little longer before i start tearing myself apart from the inside.

Travis nods as his ears flick a little

"I'm trying to just keep myself occupied these days... the new lab kinda helps with that."

Travis finds a small set of potted plants, this time taking a set of 12 karadago to catalog as he keeps up the conversation.

"Well the idea of the sound proofing is more or less to keep out the outside noise... its also why i'm thinking of asking to have the facility locked when not in use but that might just be me taking this a step too far... thanks for the compliment by the way. Its something i don't think i've heard in a while. i almost forgot those existed. Don't count yourself out though komali, you really have impressed me with your alchemy. especially when i first arrived."

Travis smiles and lets his tail wag slightly

"Well~ the new lab is contributing to my lack of appearance and will continue doing so for a while. especially if i get help."
