4-5 Charred Hills

As you step through the gate, you gain the view of a series hills, blackened by the fires continuously spreading and dying through out. The sky is a mixture of grey and orange as a result, the air thick and gross from the smoke content. A series of saplings can be found standing around, easily picked up while a number of rocks jut from the ground, different minerals and metals gatherable from them.

Lionel looks out at the bleak area, his mind wandering at the familiarity of it.
"Is that all Komali?" he asks quietly.

"Yeah I said it wa-" she cuts off as she looks over at his expression. Komali had never known him to really wear his emotions on his face, but even she could tell he looked sad. 
"Yes... That's all we need."

"Thank you."
He turns to leave.

Komali opened the database in her palm and double checked. 
"Oh... Um, Sir? I'm sorry, I forgot one more thing."

Lionel stops in front of the gate and says, "Then be quick about it please."

She quickly takes the bucket over to a little stream and [Harvests] 55 Mana.

Lionel stepped into the area and wasn't terribly pleased.

He didn't seem ill but rather nostalgic which could probably have looked like sick to Komali. Lionel just sighed as he looked around at the charred lands.

She wandered back over to him and sat beside him to provide some quiet comfort despite how badly she was itching to ask.

He looked over at her and rolled his eye inwardly at her excitement.

She didn't need telling twice. She quickly got up, eating a sandwich even as she ran to grab 117 Metal.

Her enthusiasm wasn't nearly as welcome today as it usually was. He watched her, hoping she would have forgotten their discussion as she gathers.
