Komali crammed the wood into her backpack, occasionally peeking over her shoulder to check on Illium, but he seemed to be doing ok now which was a relief.

Illium walks over to Komali, rubbing his head a little bit

Komali had been concentrating on cramming all the wood into her backpack and hadn't seen Illium approach so naturally his voice so close scared the living daylights out of her and she jumped several feet before whipping around, calming when she realized it was just him. 
"GAH... oh, Illi. Yeah I am ok, are you? That had to have hurt very badly..." 

He nods and smiles, shrugging off the ache in his arm as if nothing, though it's still covered in a series of black marks.
Yeah, I'm fine. Kinda the cost of wearing this stuff.

She reaches out and touches his arm gently.
